Terms of use

Last updated: 29 June 2026

These terms govern your use of EV Chargers NI and our quote-matching service. By using this website or submitting a quote request, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our privacy policy.

Registered company details to be confirmed. Company number, registered office address and (if applicable) VAT number will be published here once finalised. You can contact us at [email protected].

What we do (and do not do)

EV Chargers NI is a free, independent comparison and introduction service. We connect people in Northern Ireland who want an EV charger installed with vetted, registered installers who quote for the work. We are not an installer, and we do not carry out installations ourselves. We do not sell chargers and we do not provide electrical, financial or legal advice.

The service is free to you

You never pay us to use this service or to receive quotes. Installers may pay us to receive qualified enquiries. This does not change the price you are quoted, and we do not rank installers in exchange for payment in a way that is hidden from you.

Submitting a quote request

When you submit a quote request, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old and the information you provide is accurate.
  • You are the property owner, or have permission to seek an installation at the property.
  • You agree that we may share your details with up to three vetted installers so they can contact you and quote.

Your contract is with the installer

Any quote, agreement, payment, installation and warranty is strictly between you and the installer you choose. The installer is solely responsible for the survey, the price, the work, any grant application they handle on your behalf, and the quality and safety of the installation. We are not a party to that contract and we are not liable for the installer's acts, omissions, pricing or workmanship.

We take reasonable steps to work with registered installers (for example NICEIC or OFTEC registered), but you should still satisfy yourself about any installer before entering into a contract, including checking their registration, insurance and reviews.

Information on this site

We aim to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, including costs, grant details and guidance. Figures such as typical prices, grant amounts and tariff information are general guidance only, can change, and are not a quote or a guarantee. Always confirm current details with the relevant installer, grant scheme or energy supplier.

Acceptable use

You agree to use this site lawfully and not to submit false information, misuse the forms, attempt to disrupt the site, or use it for any purpose other than genuinely seeking EV charger quotes.

Liability

We provide this service with reasonable care but to the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude liability for any loss arising from your use of the service, from an installer's conduct, or from reliance on general information on this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and the courts of Northern Ireland have jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date shows when they last changed, and continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
